From 10 to 14 July 2023, cadets and Officers from the countries listed below participated in the summer military training of the HAA that took place at the «KANAPITSAS» drill ground in Litochoro, Pieria, with the aim of reinforcing the extroversion of the Hellenic Army Academy (HAA) and projecting its work, and also, primarily, improving the level of education and training through the exchange of educational processes and paradigms:
• 1 cadet from the «Bulgarian Air Force Academy», Bulgaria
• 1 Officer and 3 cadets from the «Vasil Leyski National Military University», Bulgaria
• 3 cadets from the «Academie Militarie de Saint-Cyr Coetquidan», France
• 1 Officer and 3 students from the «Royal Military College of Canada», Canada
• 2 cadets from the «Νational Defence Academy of Latvia», Latvia
• 2 cadets from the «General Tadeusz Kosciuszko Military Academy of Land Forces», Poland
• 3 cadets from the «Nicolae Balcescu Land Forces Academy», Romania
The training program consisted of operational and special training, as well as practical training in the following subjects:
• Physical Education
• Map Reading and Traversing Topography Track
• Requesting Fire Support
• Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) on the battlefield
• Advanced Marksmanship Training
• Firearms Assembly and Disassembly
• Traversing Obstacle Course
• Rowing
• Traversing Water Obstacle by using a single rope
