On Wednesday 21 December 2022, the inauguration of First Year Cadets – ‘lieutenant general Tasos Markou’ Class of 2026 took place at the Hellenic Army Academy in Vari, Attica.
The event was honoured by the presence of Archbishop of Athens and All Greece
Ieronymos II, Deputy Minister of National Defence, Mr. Nikolaos Chardalias, the Chief of the Hellenic National Defence General Staff, General Konstantinos Floros, the Chief of the Hellenic Army General Staff, Lieutenant General Charalambos Laloulisis, and the Deputy Chief of the Hellenic National Guard General Staff, Lieutenant General Loukas Hatzimichael.
